Privacy Policy
Knock It Pro! is a service provided by Final Expense Pro Ltd.
At Final Expense Pro, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share the information you provide to us when you use our door-to-door sales app. Our privacy is important to us and we understand that it is your right to control your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in a responsible manner. We will only use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Collection of Information: When you use Knock It Pro!, we collect the following types of information from you: Personal Information: We may collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and payment information. Sales Information: We may collect information about the products and services you are selling through our app. Device Information: We may collect information about the device you are using to access our app, such as its type, operating system, and IP address.
- Location Information: Knock It Pro collects your device's precise location (GPS) to provide core features: automatically tracking your business driving mileage for tax-deduction records, displaying and organizing your leads and routes on a map, and, for team and enterprise accounts, sharing your location with your organization while you are on an active work shift. Because automatic mileage tracking must detect your drives on its own, the app collects location data in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use. Background collection only occurs when you have enabled automatic mileage tracking, and you can turn location access on or off at any time in your device settings.
- Microphone and Audio: With your permission, the app accesses your microphone to record voice notes that you choose to attach to your leads. Audio is recorded only when you actively start a recording.
- Physical Activity and Activity Recognition: The app uses your device's motion data (for example, whether you are driving, walking, or stationary) solely to automatically start and stop mileage tracking. This is not used for any health or fitness purpose, and no health data is collected.
- How This Data Is Used and Shared: The data above is used only to provide these features. Location may be shared with your organization if you use an enterprise or team account and have enabled live tracking. We do not sell your personal information.
- Use of Information: We use the information we collect from you for the following purposes: To provide and improve our services: We use your information to process your orders and to provide you with customer support. To communicate with you: We may use your email address or phone number to send you promotional offers, updates about our app, or to respond to your inquiries. To prevent fraud: We may use your information to prevent fraudulent activity on our app. To comply with legal obligations: We may use your information to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to a subpoena or court order.
- Sharing of Information: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our services. These providers may include payment processors, data storage providers, and marketing agencies. We may also share your information in the following circumstances: To comply with legal obligations: We may share your information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal requirement. To protect our rights and property: We may share your information to protect our rights and property, or to investigate and prevent fraudulent activity on our app. In the event of a merger or acquisition: We may share your information if Knock It Pro! is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of its assets.
Data Security: We take data security seriously and have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as it is needed to provide the app to you, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law. Specifically:
- Account information (name, email address, phone number, physical address) is retained for as long as your account remains active, and is deleted within 30 days after your account is deleted.
- Lead, sales, and route data you create in the app is retained for as long as your account remains active, and is deleted within 30 days after your account is deleted. If you belong to a team or enterprise organization, records you created on behalf of that organization may be retained by the organization's account after you leave it, because that data belongs to the organization rather than to you individually.
- Location and mileage data is retained for up to 7 years, because mileage records are commonly used as supporting documentation for tax deductions and users need to be able to produce them if audited. You can delete individual trips at any time from within the app, and all remaining location and mileage data is deleted within 30 days after your account is deleted.
- Voice notes and other media you attach to a lead are retained until you delete the note or the lead it is attached to, and in any case are deleted within 30 days after your account is deleted.
- Device and log information (device type, operating system, IP address, diagnostic logs) is retained for up to 24 months and is then automatically deleted.
- Billing and transaction records are retained for 7 years after the transaction, because we are required to keep them for tax, accounting, and audit purposes. These records are kept even after your account is deleted, and are limited to what the law requires us to retain.
Backup copies of deleted data may persist in our encrypted backups for up to 90 days before they are overwritten. We may also retain information for longer where we are required to do so to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.
How to Delete Your Data
You can request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it at any time. To submit a deletion request:
- Email support@knockitpro.com from the email address on your Knock It Pro account, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Tell us what to delete: your entire account, or specific categories of data (for example, only your location and mileage history).
- We verify and confirm: we will verify that the request came from the account holder, confirm receipt within 7 days, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
You can also delete individual leads, routes, trips, and voice notes yourself at any time from within the app, without contacting us.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, your leads and sales records, your routes, your location and mileage history, and your voice notes and attachments. Deletion is permanent and this data cannot be recovered afterwards, so you may want to export any records you need before you submit the request. As described above, we retain billing and transaction records for 7 years where tax and accounting law requires it, and residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten. If you belong to a team or enterprise organization, data you created on behalf of that organization remains with the organization's account.
Changes to this Privacy Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes to the policy, we will notify you by email or through our app.
